Will Astra Sage visit my premises first?

Yes, where required. Astra Sage’s service agreement and Supplier Code allow site visits, verification checks, and review of operating conditions to confirm traceability, waste status, plausibility of UCO generation, and compliance.

What documents do I need to sign?

You may need to complete the supplier onboarding documents, including the ISCC Self-Declaration, Supplier Code of Conduct, and the collection agreement or service agreement. A collection receipt is also issued at each documented handover.

Yes. We do not charge for genuine UCO collections.

How do you decide pickup timing?

Pickup timing is planned around the supplier’s operating needs, volume pattern, and preferred schedule. Astra Sage supports structured scheduling and flexible collection timing.

When does responsibility for the oil transfer to Astra Sage?

For accepted UCO, title and risk pass to Astra Sage upon completed handover and issuance of Astra’s collection receipt, subject to the agreement terms.

How and when do I get paid?

Astra Sage pays the agreed price per kilogram of accepted UCO. Preferred payment is through secure and traceable digital methods such as GCash and bank transfer. Timing follows the agreed service terms and required supporting documents.

What if my oil is contaminated or non-conforming?

Astra Sage may reject material that is contaminated, mixed, falsely declared, excessively wet, improperly stored, or otherwise non-conforming. Rejection rights are clearly set out in the service agreement.

How does this help offset fresh-oil cost?

By releasing genuine UCO through a documented and paid collection pathway, suppliers recover value from a waste stream that would otherwise only create handling and disposal burden.

We Collect the UCO, Weigh It in Front of You, and Take Over the Chain of Custody

At the collection event, Astra Sage may inspect the material visually, by smell, by sampling, or through field checks before or during loading. The quantity is then measured in the presence of the supplier’s representative using Astra’s scale, a third-party scale, container conversion, or another reasonable method. Astra then issues the collection receipt and related handover documentation, and your representative signs to confirm the quantity tendered and handed over.

Once the accepted UCO has been properly handed over and Astra’s collection receipt has been issued, title to and risk in the accepted UCO pass to Astra Sage, subject to the terms of the agreement. In practical terms, the chain of custody is now with Astra Sage and the supplier can relax knowing the material has left through a documented and controlled pathway.
